A particulate filter only blocks when something stops it regenerating: short journeys that never get it hot, a lazy differential pressure sensor, a leaking injector, an EGR valve stuck open, a failing glow system, or a car that has been quietly aborting its regenerations for months. Replacing the filter without finding that reason buys you a very expensive repeat.
We read the regeneration history, the soot and ash load, exhaust temperatures and the pressure sensor's own plausibility, then tell you which of those it actually is. Very often the fix is one sensor or one leaking component, and the filter recovers on a forced regeneration.

No — on a road-registered vehicle that is illegal in the UK and an automatic MOT failure. We diagnose why it is blocking and repair the cause, which is usually cheaper than owners fear.
Because the regeneration treated the symptom. Something is loading the filter faster than it can burn off, or the car is aborting regens. That cause is visible in live data.
Sometimes — if soot load is high but ash load is still low, cleaning plus fixing the underlying fault can restore the filter. If ash is at the limit, cleaning is money wasted.
